Zinc is important for erasing acne from skin. It regulates in controlling the amount of testosterone in the body which plays a dominant role in causing acne. In addition to it, zinc is also concerned with collagen synthesis. This further aids in normalizing the amount of skin oils and maintenance of a healthy skin.

Because acne is caused by hormonal imbalance, Zinc with a few other key nutrients helps to balance out hormonal production.

The end effect of the hormonal balancing of zinc is that if used properly, and if used with these other key nutrients zinc will actually normalize your skins oil production.

Switching your diet to a lot of healthy fruits, vegetables and lean proteins would be a good thing. While these food choices might not be able to eliminate acne on their own, they would be providing your body with a host of good nutrients.
Such nutrients may end up having a great influence on skin health. fantastic healthcareguru.net here
